finished projects

This fun little summer dress is the first thing I have sewn in a long time. It was a collared shirt of Chad's. I've had fun re-purposing or up-cycling clothes that Chad and I no longer wear. Brynlyn was a great little subject. She let me measure, measure some more then measure again.
This is the beginning of a Tutu, made from all of this fun stuff!
the end result, hours of spinning fun
for a sweet little princess! We gifted this one to Kaylee for her birthday. I forgot to take a final picture with the big flower sewn on the front in her favorite color... green!
Now Brynlyn is very ready to finish making her tutu. I hope to post more fun finished projects soon!

Thank you everyone for the sweet comments! I don't feel like supermom or way talented. But it sure is fun to try. ;)
