Sewing time

My goodness.....! I love looking at a new stack of fun fabrics. These will eventually become Halloween costumes for my sweet little super hero girl's.
The beginning of Peyton's Captain America costume.
I owe my mom a bunch for helping me with the girl's so I could get started sewing costumes. I love creating things for my sweet daughters

Grammy's Birthday!

Grampy and Grammy invited the family over for dinner and yummy cake! The kids were very excited to help Grammy open her prize.
Chad was the center of attention. Not sure what game he was playing on his Ipad. But the kid's would all laugh in unison each time he messed up, or something like that.

Justin and Lana

The three princesses playing and packing. They were so excited to leave town for Uncle Justin's wedding.
It was a bit windy, but the kids danced and played with their cousins outside the Temple.
More dancing and playing!
The happy couple!  So wonderful that Justin found such an amazing person to be his eternal companion. We are so excited for them.  The wedding was beautiful.

Summer is over!

We went swimming one last time before the temperatures started to drop. The girl's absolutely love swimming and really get excited when BJ & Misty invite us to play at their house. We had an awesome BBQ and played with friends until it was beyond time to get the kids in bed.

New Sis-in-law!

What a fun bridal shower and celebration for my new Sister-in-law.  The shower was outside of her parents home in Parowan, UT.  Perfect weather, fun people and yummy treats.  I am so excited for my youngest brother and his lovely fiance!

Shopping

I have the best little helper. Peyton has been very sad after we drop big sister off at school each morning. I decided she needed to take charge of something to make her happy.
She got her own shopping cart and picked out some of her favorite things.  She was still a little sad in this picture, but trying to show me her big girl side.

First Ice Cream cone!

Very content little girl after devouring her first Ice Cream cone!

School 2012

I am very amazed at how fast Kindergarten and our first official summer break flew by. Now Brynlyn my oldest is a First Grader. She is super excited, I'm excited and sad all at the same time.
Happy baby Miyah, excited to leave the house!
Peyton is just as excited for Brynlyn as I am. She packed toys and an empty lunchbox in her backpack for the adventure.
So many parents and kids everywhere on the first day of school. The little girls enjoyed the stroller while Brynlyn got to see classmates from last year.  Nicholas is her buddy from Kindergarten, very cool they ended up in the same class again.
I love this picture. She was so excited and nervous at the same time.
The second day of school we got to take Brynlyn's friend Aliyah.  These girl's love to play together.  But, they fight really well too. The first few weeks of school Brynlyn was exhausted and cried often, we fought over homework and almost everything else.
By the fourth week of school she was a happy kid again.  Adjusted to her new full schedule and loving her weekends at home.  She is almost kinder to her little sisters now that she is not with them all the time.

Future Hair Stylist

Brynlyn almost waited patiently for her turn. She only played her leapster for 10 minutes before she was intrigued by everything around us in the salon.  She wanted to help color and cut my hair.  Jessie was a great sport and awesome stylist letting Brynlyn help with a few things.
Almost done with her new style.  I love her sassy short hair.  Matches her personality perfect.
After sweeping up all her hair she was amazed at the large pile.
Chop, Chop I really enjoy having my hair shorter!  Never thought I would say that.
We are beautiful and finished.  Love our hair.

Weird...

My immune system has not been the strongest. I have gotten sick more often this summer than usual.
This weird virus I got started in July. Peyton and Brynlyn were sick after we spent time in Utah. Then a couple days after they started feeling crummy,  I began to have the same symptoms only worse than the girls. I was exhausted, weak, feverish, flu like stuff, sores inside my mouth, nose and cold sores all over my face.
Strange lesions started to appear on my hands, feet and legs. I had a strange rash and felt like a leper.  I didn't leave my house for over two weeks.  When I called and explained the symptoms to my doctor's office, they got me in right away. After visiting the doctor I told my mom what I was diagnosed with and she said I think your brother has the same thing. So Kurt and I are comparing these odd symptoms and trying to take care of ourselves.
Turns out I had Hand, foot and mouth disease... which adults rarely get.  But my immune system is weak so I got it!
After a few weeks of having painful red welts on my hands and feet, they started coming to the surface and popping.  So painful, irritating and just plain stupid!!
I had to wear plastic gloves to change diapers, fix food, etc...
Everything I touched irritated the crap out of me.  Holding my plastic cell phone case or car keys felt like scraping a chalkboard.  Crazy how sensitive I was to everything.
It's been over eight weeks since these symptoms started and I still have sores opening up on my feet, and I'm loosing some of my fingernails.
Possibly to much information... But hey, doing my best to document this crazy and wonderful life.

Duck tub

Our girl's crack me up.  The travel baby tub was still out from our last trip. The girls were fighting over who had the longest turn in the blow up tub.  So we had fun and took silly pictures.

Yearly Cabin Trip

We had a blast at the family cabin this summer.  The kids played outside most of the time.
but they really enjoyed bath time and relaxing with cousin's before bed.
Swinging and playing in the dirt.

Peyton was so happy to have dad help her shoot her marshmallow gun.
Uncle Jared and Aunt Heather were awesome and brought enough supplies to make Marshmallow guns for the entire family.  Each kid and each couple now have a bright gun to shoot each other with.
The best part was watching the little kids eat the ammo after shooting it in the dirt.

Fishing was a very important part of our vacation.  Grandpa Carl was the best, he made sure each grand kid had a turn catching a fish.

Miyah started walking!

This sweet little girl finally started walking at 13 months old.  She was content to scoot around on all fours and let her sister's bring everything her way.  We went to Al & Nancy's to swim July 14th and she took 10 steps in the family room.
Just a week later, I had Megan Lee take pictures for the girls birthday's.  Miyah was walking all over the place making it tricky to get pictures. My baby is learning so much.

Farm

The kid's love visiting the farm.  Uncle Monty and Aunt Carla have some new additions.  New baby chicks, bunnies and fish.  It was so fun checking out all the animals and hanging out with family.

24th of July

The line up of strollers at the 24th of July parade.  My parents picked up a couple strollers for cheap, so when I travel no need to fit my huge double stroller in with the luggage.  The cousins loved being together, and enjoyed talking, playing and riding together as much as watching the parade.
T, looks super fly with his cousin's pink glasses!  We had a great Saturday with family.  We watched the parade, then headed to the park for good food, and fun.  The kids enjoyed the huge slides then we went to Kurt & Farah's to have a picnic which got rained out.  So we played inside for a bit, then headed to the Grandparents for naps and relaxing.  Great time celebrating!

Ward Campout

Enjoying the outdoors with our ward in honor of Pioneer day.  We drove up Mt. Charleston just before it got dark.  We stopped on the way to the mountain and picked up KFC for dinner.  Once we got to the campsite Brynlyn immediately went on a hike with friends.  She had so much fun, she forgot to eat dinner.
So Chad had fun with her, making smore's.  The perfect camping dinner, gooey and sugary!
We decided it would be too crazy to sleep in a tent with our three girls and opted to head home that same night.  It was the perfect little family getaway, just a few hours of adventure.
