2nd Ultrasound

below pic baby kept rolling over making it difficult for the tech to do her job and measure the growth and other details!

Everytime I have an ultrasound I am amazed at the reality of a little life growing inside! The heartbeat was very strong, everything measures perfect.

The only concern the doctor had was the placenta being lower than usual... possibly being a problem later known as placenta previa. Yet, she said it could move up and they will keep a close eye on this because it could cause many problems(c-section, hemmorage, and blood loss to the baby). The doctor told me no lifting, twisting or pushing myself to exhaustion. That should be interesting while packing, moving and caring for a toddler.

The tech also guessed from the ultrasound that this is another girl! We shall see... sometime in February.

Snow FUN!

The day after Christmas we woke up to winter WonderLand...Testing out the new snow boots - working fantastic!

Throwing snowballs at Dad while he scrapes the driveway, and yelling good job guys! Grandpa was clearing the culdesac with his backhoe and Brynlyn was amazed.

Brynlyn was not sure about the slippery ride with dad.

But, felt much better once mom joined the ride!

It's been a long day and we are tired, Brynlyn stayed in her pj's all day opening presents from sun up to sun down! What a great day, we had so much fun with family and are very blessed!

Christmas in Vegas

We are soo spoiled we celebrated Christmas twice this year, first time in Vegas!

We had lots of fun and Brynlyn did not want the presents to stop.

Uncle

Uncle Justin and his friend Kim came to visit before Christmas to get some Christmas shopping done. We got to hang out and play for a morning before they headed home!
Brynlyn loves her Uncle and would not let him leave her side.

Potty Trained

Brynlyn told Daddy she needed a pooping magazine like he uses! And it Magically worked! She used the toilet and was very excited about her accomplishment. Especially because she got to read her hunting magazine while sitting on the throne.

House

I wanted to share with everyone... Excitement for us!! The bank has supposedly accepted our offer on a house! We are supposed to see a signed contract from the bank by Monday the 29th. YAA!! How exciting it will be not to worry, stress or think about house hunting - especially through the Holiday's.

Hoping that our luck stays good this time and the bank follows through on there word!

Finding the perfect home...

What a mess... and a long process it has turned out to be! We started looking months ago and have placed offers on numerous homes only to have one thing after the next go wrong. Now we are at crunch time and need to have a place by the end of January.

What a learning process and our patience has grown!

We are so blessed to have a great Realtor Dave and Lender helping us through this confusing ordeal.

I know that we will find the right home just in the nick of time, because it has to work out right?

Santa Clause

Last year Brynlyn wanted nothing to do with Santa Clause, this year we had to go back and see him a second time before she would leave the ward party!

She told him how excited she was to be a big sister and that she needed a doll with clothes for Christmas. We had lots of fun at the ward party, ate good food and went to all the fun Christmas workshops to make toys for the humanitarian projects.

Holy Crap it's snow in Vegas!

GReat Pumpkin Dessert

This is our neighbor treat this year for Christmas! Brynlyn and I cooked up a storm Sunday evening for a few hours, making big messes and having fun. She is a great little helper and loves to do all of the cooking, She especially loves doing the dishes! When we were all done the floor was wet and Brynlyn was drenched! But we had a blast.

Christmas Card and FUN news!!!

I did a custom Christmas card this year to let everyone know that we are expecting our 2nd baby! I borrowed this way cute idea from our friend Lindsey.

Brynlyn has been telling everyone for months that she is going to be a big sister before we knew she would be(smart kid).

Here are some Details: We are due July 5, 2009... exactly 1 month after Brynlyn turns 3. I have been very sick with this Pregnancy, much worse than I remember with Brynlyn... I have been throwing up everyday and nauseous all the time, unless I am sleeping.:) And now are family has caught a yucky cold/sinus/ear infection! We are hoping to be healthy by Christmas so we can travel to Utah and see our new baby cousin and family!

It's A BOY!!!

Baby is doing great... Mom & Dad are tired after 2 days of intense labor pains!

cURLY hAiR

Here is the after Curlers look requested by my mom!

Brynlyn got my very straight hair... so after six hours of curlers this is the best we could get!!!

But what a cutie, she felt like a princess. Off to ride her bike around the pool table.

Ouch!

Brynlyn got a big owie at School this past Monday! About 5 minutes before I picked her up she fell off a kitchen chair landing on her face!
Then the teacher said she sat in a small child wooden chair and it broke underneath her!
When I got there she started sobbing and would not take her face away from my chest.

She now has a small black eye and the cut was infected but we have kept it clean and now it is healing!

She has unfortunately inherited my talent for clumsiness.

So happy...

Brynlyn all dressed up for the not so cold weather.. about 60 degrees. Mom told her to go put a jacket on so she could play outside and this is what she chose!
