Utah Trip- part 2

The next morning we were moving slow, but we still managed to make it to Hoogle Zoo. Most of the animals were sleeping or the exhibits were being re-located. But we did get to see the new baby Elephant, Zuri some very tall Giraffe's, turtles, monkeys and a few others.
That evening we visited Nikki and her family, but did not see our new baby cousin Radlyn. She was still in the hospital.
Shortly after leaving their house our new truck died! So Jason and Steph even though exhausted came to our rescue with a vehicle to get us back to the hotel.
The next morning bright and early my dad and Chad fixed the alternator from hell(Chad's words). I got a late check out at the hotel and took the girls swimming to kill time!
What a crazy and memorable trip!

Utah Trip- part 1

Our day started about 4:30 am with a long detour to pick up my dad who was working out of town so, he could enjoy vacation with us! The kids did amazingly well after being in the car for over 8 hours. We spent the rest of the day at Lagoon. The girls really enjoyed the park. Brynlyn loved all the rides she went on and Peyton had a blast watching all the people, lights and crazy rides!

We met up with my little brother and his cute friend, Chad's sister's family, and my good friend Cyndi and her kids. We did not take as many pictures as I would like, but we sure had fun with people we don't get to see very often.
Brynlyn slept very well after a full 18 hour day!

24th July Celebration

Brynlyn, not sure if she loves or hates the slide?

We were soaked but had a blast on the water slides!

Kaylee and Brynlyn had face painting done! It only lasted a few hours, but they loved it.

Peyton enjoyed roaming around waiting for the fireworks to start.

All the kids dog piled on Ryan!

Even Peyton enjoyed the wildness! We had a lot of fun, ate great food and hung out with great people!

B's staples out!

Brynlyn was so excited to get her Staples out. Especially because our Home Teacher/ Personal Medic offered to do it for us. Much better than taking her back to Quick Care and paying $50.00. Plus she was more comfortable at home and not scared!

Art is Brynlyn's bud and always brings her some medical supplies to add to her doctor kit when he visits each month. She now has a huge stack of gauze pads, barf bag, ice pack and pink gloves!
Art and Amy trying to get the staples out with little pain or discomfort. Brynlyn started sobbing because it hurt pretty bad. The last staple was put in crooked, so it did not want to come out. Plus the scab had started to grow over the staples. Traumatic, but now Brynlyn is so proud of the experience.
Looks good!
Brynlyn a little irritated by the whole process, but glad to be done! Showing off her staples and the tool used to extract.
