Adorable and Sweet

Peyton is growing up right before my eyes. At 21 months her vocabulary has exploded. She is so expressive and loud at home. When in public she stays very close to dad and mom.

She is still tiny and small for her age, barely over 21 pounds now. She is our climber and very fast! Eating much better thanks to help from a Speech therapist and nutritionist.

Last Sunday during fast and testimony meeting she would say very loud "AMEN, DONE" at the end of each person's testimony. I took her out the last 15 minutes for being overly happy and loud. Once sacrament is over she clings to one of us and repeats home, home now! Nursery is tricky with her, but the leaders say she doesn't cry much. ;)
Her favorites: outside, swings, drawing with chalk, mickey mouse, doofy (goofy), donald, minnie, her baby doll that's almost as big as her, socks, shoes, and strawberries.

I can't believe she will be a big sister soon, Peyton is still my baby!

Oops!

Brynlyn has been our most accident prone kid! She normally has bruises and cuts with stories behind them. This time... she followed me to the garage and dove onto the floor after stubbing her toe somewhere along the way. Possibly the door jam, not sure.

Thank goodness Chad was home. He was calm, soaked up blood, put the skin back on her toe and wouldn't let her look till he was done. After tears and hugs she calmed down to watch a movie and eat some ice cream.

The Birthday

I'm another year older... the birthday has come and gone!
I was super spoiled, fed well and loved. Thank you to everyone for all the many fun things to make my birthday amazing!
I think I was trying to block my age in the picture, without really thinking about it.

Spot o Green Day

Brynlyn informed me that she needed to wear a "Spot o green, for Green day at school". She was very specific that she would like a twirly green skirt. With nothing like that in her closet, I was excited to make something. I found a simple ruffle skirt pattern and had a fun skirt for her a couple hours later!
Brynlyn's Huge accomplishment! She can now officially pump all be herself! She is often found in the backyard swinging and singing.

Fun weekend

What a great and busy weekend we had! Started off with yard work, beautiful flowers, happy Kids, a trip to the Temple, a missionary farewell with dinner and family afterwards. Then a birthday surprise from my parents!Peyton really enjoys the outdoors and has recently figured out that chalk draws on things, including the laundry room wall, bikes, trampolines and lawn chairs! ;)
Brynlyn loves the extra attention from Grandma and Grandpa. She worked hard with Grandma, and learned how to plant and care for our new flowers. She has anxiously helped me water them the last five days.
At six months pregnant I joined in on the gardening fun. Chad and Grandpa trimmed trees and prepared dirt for us.
Yummy pudding cake to celebrate my birthday a week early! Can't believe I will be 30 this month. My mom gave me a money tree as one of her traditions for the big 30. Brynlyn asked if it will grow more money when we take the bills off? :) I wish!
Crazy lilac bush branch is potted in plaster so it wont tip over. And it started to bloom. We think it drank all the moisture from the plaster. Love my birthday surprises!!!

So much to do...

Painting Brynlyn's new big girl room. She picked out the color and went to work with Grandma. Brynlyn is very excited to have her own room and has many fun and crazy ideas on how to decorate and personalize her space.
With warmer weather comes more yard work and time outside. The girls love to be a part of it and want to spend as much time following dad as possible.

These two have been getting along a little better for short periods of time. They still fight way to much, but love to do the same things more and more! Life is great and so very busy!
