Missing my dishwasher

Mother's Day
yard work.

We are continually plugging along! Chad is extremely busy lately. I have felt a little bit like a single parent the last couple weeks. If he is not working on our backyard then he is doing church stuff or staying late at work. I really miss my dishwasher(Chad), those extra pots and pans make me very tired. The deal at our house, I cook he scrubs the dishes! I love it.
My extra time(what's that) I've spent working on some fun sewing projects, that I hope to post pictures of soon. I am so behind on my scrapbooks. One day I will have more time for that. I am starting to feel the sleep deprivation set in!
We have spent hours each day playing dress up, throwing balls, making playdough monsters, doing laundry, reading story's, teaching little ones to descend stairs, removing rock from our backyard, visiting doctors, wiping noses (darn allergies) and spring cleaning closets!
I am doing my best to spend half the day or more just playing with the kids. I keep thinking how fast my little ones are growing and soon they wont want me to play alongside them! ;(
Brynlyn is having surgery next week. I feel prepared (but still nervous). We have talked to her about the details(they will put her out). She seems excited and can't wait to play doctor for real. It will be a simple procedure to correct labial adhesion, which she was born with. One of her cute little cousins has already been through this surgery and did wonderfully. It has helped to have someone to give me all the details.
My mom surprised me with a visit. She fed kids, read stories, did bath time and lots more. She let me take a nap that I really needed so my sinus infection could start to get better. I had a doctors appointment Thursday morning at 7:00 am. Yuck right, but that's when they could squeeze me in last minute. The doc gave me steroids to get the swelling down and a referral to an Ear, Nose, Throat specialist. I may need surgery in the near future to fix my deviated septum. Hopefully getting rid of my chronic sinusitis. Sooo looking forward to that.
Oh, and I can't forget to mention... Chad went to Supercross last weekend, had a great time with the guys.
Mother's day was very nice. I woke up to some very cute signs from each family member. Peyton's sign said "hi dad" -Peyton (sorry)
Her first and only words so far... "Hi Dad"

Brynlyn's said "Your the best mom in the whole entire world"

Chad's said "keep up the good mommy work... especially dinner"
Chad spoiled me with a tiny new sweet camcorder (fits in the palm of my hand). And it's bright blue, love it! My in-laws gave me a couple good books to read... so excited, I have not read in forever. And my parents gave me a gift card for Home Depot. Yaa, when my yard is done I can get a sweet plant or something cool for decor!
Happy Late Mothers Day to all the lady's.

Wyndee, i'm sorry you lost your dishwasher, i hate those times (kenny does the dishes at our house as well). good luck with the surgery, i'm sure it will be way easier than you expected. i had a deviated septum and chronic sinusitis, and they wanted to do surgery. i figured out if i can keep allergies away then i rarely ever get sinus infections any more and never had to have the surgery. i've heard the surgery is awful...so hopefully it won't come to that!
