Trunk-or-Treat

Brynlyn did surprisingly well at Trunk-or-Treat even though she refused to take a nap during the day and would not get in her Tinkerbell costume until we told her Grammy would be sad.

Tinkerbell scored a lot of candy for a 2 year old! Proudly holding up one of many suckers!
Before the Treating started Tinker-Brynlyn decided to wear her bucket on her head while patiently standing in line.

U.S. Open Supercross

Last night we went to the Supercross event at The MGM. So much fun, we were really high up... but it was great for Brynlyn! Not to close to the very loud motorcycles and exhaust!
We lugged our nice big camera all the way through the casino and they would not let us take it in. So Saddd!
But, Anjuli had her small camera, so she got a few shots!

Gizmo

My cute dog Gizmo passed away this last weekend! I was extremely sad, but happy that she is no longer in pain. I told Brynlyn that Gizmo is now in Doggie Heaven and she started to cry and said "no mommy, why". We cried together and Brynlyn shared her blankie with me so I could feel better(what a sweetheart).

Then, we talked about Doggie Heaven and Brynlyn told me "Gizmo feels better now and is with Heavenly Father and my baby sister". What a smart kid, she helped me smile and feel better about losing my puppy of 13 years! Farah and I picked her out for my Christmas present in 1995. We have had lots of good times with her, she loved to ride the fourwheeler with my dad and go for rides in his truck to get jerky at the gas station. Gizmo's main goal in life was to eat, eat, eat! If anyone was near the kitchen she was there.

We will miss our little dog when we visit the Grandparents!

Heaven...

Brynlyn is in Heaven... when I am cooking lunch, dinner or even sitting on the grass working on my laptop - she is happy as can be, running from slide to swings to trampoline and back again!

I am so excited that we found a great swing set, waited till they were cheap and the weather is great for playing outside!
