Jill's Baby Shower

At Jill's shower this weekend we got to meet my friend Mel's little girl.

Sofia & Brynlyn's... birthday's are only 4 days apart!
Jill, Wyndee & Mel... All Pregnant!
Jill is due in March and Mel and I are due in July.
The shower was so much fun, like a mini reunion of my old co-workers and friends.
The decoration's were very cute and Jill had tons of family and friends there, she received tons of great gifts!

Road Trip... updated

Last Thursday we went to California for a day for the Ellen Show!

My sister in-law gave Stephany tickets for Christmas and I was able to go at the last minute with tickets that people could not use! I'm thankful that Billy was willing to watch an extra kid so I could have a day away!

It was so much fun, we got prizes and dessert! The show will air today Monday, and it is Ellen's birthday show! We got to California and eventually found a place to eat with just enough time to spare for checking in at Warner Bros. and did not wait to long before we headed over to the Studio for the show. It was a fun experience and kind of surreal to see people in person that you only see on TV.

What have we done this year?

Lots of dress up, playing and fun!
Lot's of time spent with Daddy's new RC car.

We have been playing a ton, also working, packing, signing papers, and de-cluttering our stuff.

TWO THUMBS UP...

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! So proud of our little/big girl. She runs to the toilet when she knows it's time. We tried potty training when she was about 2 and Brynlyn decided it was not time.

This time she decided she was ready at 2 1/2 years old. Accident free for almost 3 weeks! I am truly loving this new step because no more gagging with pregnancy symptoms when changing yucky/smelly diapers! Night time dryness is another story... but, soon we hope to conquer the nighttime pull-ups challenge!

He was 6lb 11oz and 18" long... has big hands with cute long fingers, chubby face

and he is just plain adorable. The new family is doing well.
We are so excited for Mikie & Aubrey!

A new home!

I thought everyone would like an update about our house situation.. I wish we knew more details but we get to wait, wait, wait for the bank to do the paperwork.

For now we are checking out the interior, measuring for carpet and figuring out what needs to be fixed or adjusted before moving in.

Even though it was extra cold and windy outside... Brynlyn's very excited to be at her new home! She loved the backyard which needs some grass.

We should close end of January or beginning of February? Very exciting and kind of nerve wracking to buy a home!
