My cute dog Gizmo passed away this last weekend! I was extremely sad, but happy that she is no longer in pain. I told Brynlyn that Gizmo is now in Doggie Heaven and she started to cry and said "no mommy, why". We cried together and Brynlyn shared her blankie with me so I could feel better(what a sweetheart). Then, we talked about Doggie Heaven and Brynlyn told me "Gizmo feels better now and is with Heavenly Father and my baby sister". What a smart kid, she helped me smile and feel better about losing my puppy of 13 years! Farah and I picked her out for my Christmas present in 1995.
We have had lots of good times with her, she loved to ride the fourwheeler with my dad and go for rides in his truck to get jerky at the gas station. Gizmo's main goal in life was to eat, eat, eat! If anyone was near the kitchen she was there.

That's so sad. I'm so sorry for you. I felt the same way when we had to put my dog of 10 years down. It get's better.
Oh Wyndee I'm so sorry. I just totally teared up reading this. I'm going to miss Gizmo too. I also remember her jumping into the truck to go w/ uncle Carl to the gas station. She was such a good dog.
Wyndee i am so sorry about gizmo. But like you said no more pain. Maybe one day you will get another dog and brynlyn will love it just as much.
oh my goodness Wyn poor gizmo! i loved gizmo so much. i am so sorry. gizmo was sick for a long time though so maybe it is a good thing. i thought it was the cutest thing when i first saw gizmo jump up on the fourwheeler with uncle carl. remember all the good times. love ya!!
Sad but good it was time, she is better now, in Doggie Heaven.
Thanks for the memories, It is pretty lonely especially at dinner time with out our little Gizzimo. We had lots of great years with our little girl.
Awww... I'm so sad for you. How cute is Brynlyn though? She's certainly a sweetheart when she wants to be huh.
