Valentine!

I had fun sewing these shirt's for my girls!
I wanted some fun pictures and started out with all three princesses

Very quickly, I was down to two.

Shortly after that only one sweet valentine remained.  I'm sure because she can't crawl or walk away yet!

HAPPY VALENTINES!

100 inches

For the 100th day of school Brynlyn had an assignment to wear a shirt with 100 items on it.  I was not excited to sew, glue or attach 100 separate items to a shirt.  So I asked Brynlyn if we could just do 100 inches of ruffles.  She loved the idea!  It took all of twenty minutes to make and sew 100 inches of pink ruffles for this girly shirt.  We took a quick picture as we headed out the door for school, so you can't see some of her ruffles.  Peyton loves to be in pictures with sister!

So smart!

This makes me laugh each time I see it!
I left Brynlyn to try her homework alone while I put laundry away!  When I came back she was no where to be found and her notebook lay open to this message.  I laughed for a very long time, and this made Brynlyn angry.  She was hoping for a negative reaction for some reason.
I asked her to read the sentence to me and she wouldn't.  I got a sheepish frown/smile and we laughed together.  I told her she is much smarter than she thinks and good job sounding out her words!
I really hope that doing homework can become less of an argument and more fun.

Room re-do

Let me start off by saying my husband is awesome!!!  I know he didn't really want to re-do the kids room.  But I am so happy that he obliged and did most of the work on this project.  I kept the three munchkins busy and he taped, painted, painted, edged, and painted a little more until it was perfect.
Brynlyn was allowed to get in on the painting action!  She was bored very quick.

I found some awesome furniture on craigslist.  The girls are in heaven with the new bunk bed. I am loving that I can fit more furniture in one room.  Bonus, we have a guest room again.

I love the new kid room!  Can't wait to decorate and put all the finishing touches together.  Surprisingly all three girl's sleep very well in the same room. It is so fun to nurse my sweet baby in the middle of the night and watch the other two sleep. Kid's are my favorite when they are sleeping!

Sweet and Cranky

It's an amazing roller coaster to be the mother of these three munchkins!
They keep me on my toes.  I have many wonderful moments with them each day, and some very cranky times!
Life has been a struggle over the past six months.  Postpartum depression began when Miyah was just one month old.  I thought I could handle it, or it would go away.  A few months later I realized things were bad and I needed help.  My doctor quickly prescribed some med's to help with my depression, anxiety and panic attacks.  I also talked with my doctor about many other health concerns.  After blood work, antibiotics, more blood work and tons of side affects.  Still waiting for some answers, and treating my crazy symptoms as they come.  I know someday I will want to remember all the things that went on.  I currently feel like a walking pharmacy.
My awesome sarcastic husband has been so wonderful and picked up the slack when needed and cracked jokes to keep me smiling.  I feel like my body is betraying me and falling apart.  My attempts to get my pre-baby body back have not been successful.  I start working out when I have free time(what's that?)  and become sick with a cold/sinus infection that takes me out for up to four weeks.  I'm currently on my 3rd sinus infection in seven weeks.
Enough complaints from me.  I have so many things to be thankful for.  My family is wonderful, and I know that my Heavenly Father is mindful of all the bumps in the road.  My daughters are such a blessing.  They often wake up before I would like them to and come sweetly ask for breakfast.  Peyton would love for me to stay in bed with her and watch Mickey Mouse or Toy Story like we did when I was on bed rest.  She often disappears throughout the day, and I find that she has un-made my bed and crawled in the sheets waiting for some quality time with mom.  Brynlyn loves Kindergarten but despises the homework each night.  Miyah is the best baby.  She is a complete momma's girl.  Life is full, and I am truly happy most days!
I am certain the girl's will hate this picture when they are older, but(Pun intended) we had to have a bum shot.  Brynlyn and Peyton wanted to teach Miyah how to swim.

Day Trip

Amazing weather in Winter = time to meet up with the family and ride!
So glad we could all be together and celebrate with cupcakes and fun!  Happy 60th Birthday to the best Father in the world.  I didn't even get a picture of him blowing out his candle.  It was a really great excuse to play together.
The kids had so much fun with cousin's.  They did not want to go separate ways when the day was over.
Miyah enjoyed the trip and rarely cried.  The loud Motorcycles didn't even bother her.
Grandpa was worn out from giving the kids rides, so they pretended to drive his four wheeler.
I just realized our trailer and truck are hiding behind my dad's.  Beautiful but very dusty day.
This is how the munchkins looked after playing in the dirt and having so much fun!  It was so great to meet up with the whole family for a day and just play.  Can't wait to do it again.

Look at me...

Look Who is sitting up!!!
Miyah has loved her new view of life.  She smiles and giggles with her toys and loves to sit, play and watch everyone move around the house.  Occasionally she tips over and screams very loud until you rescue her.
 Homework time...
It is a huge struggle.  Brynlyn gets upset every night and gives us a thousand excuses to put her homework off.  I can't believe it, and she is only in Kindergarten.  Her homework is coloring and simple writing but she hates it!  Chad and I take turns doing our best to be happy and help her.  Peyton does not like to be left out, so she has her own homework notebook to scribble in.
Hanging out with cousin's is one of our favorite things!  So much fun and drama with these cute little girls.
