Happenings

The girls playing in the loft.

Peyton is almost bald! Peyton's smile makes my day!
So much has gone on since my last post! I don't know if I can remember everything.

We spent a weekend in Utah with family for a baby shower, riding dirt bikes and having fun. Brynlyn stayed at Grandma's for a week. I went to Super Saturday and made cute things. We've all had the flu and gotten better, then got it again(except the baby, thank goodness). We stayed in our pajama's till noon, cleaned the house, played with Trystan and ran around outside in the nice fall weather!

My laptop screen is no longer working, so I borrow Chad's and also use the projector with my computer to save my data to an external hard drive. So much fun!
We got a new washer and dryer, because the old ones bit the dust! My husband is very good at researching the best for a great price, so I have these awesome new stacking toys in my laundry room! I had fun doing laundry this week, gasp!! Even better Brynlyn camped out in front of the washer on her stool and was very entertained watching her blankets have a twirly bath.
The following items all broke within the last couple weeks:
Brand new disposal
washer & Dryer
My laptop
Sprinkler system
thermostat's
stove
I know I'm missing something..
Ahh, the wonders of home ownership!
Life is so fun and there is always something to keep us busy!

Petyon is 3 months already...

Just 3 weeks old!
Love her smile!
Our sweet little Peyton is already 3 months old! She is such a perfect little baby at home, then we take her out in public and she cries non-stop! Such a sensitive little girl.
Brynlyn was very concerned about her sad baby sister and asked if she could be in the pictures to help sister feel happy? The photographer agreed and captured some sweet moments of my girls!

The day I took the girls to get Peyton's 3 month pictures we were running late because...
The water company was doing routine maintenance on our street and shut the water off while I was in the shower(shampoo head and all)! I had to rinse with water from the fridge... burrr! So I got ready, called Chad who called the water company to send someone out to fix the problem.

I returned from having pictures taken to find very little water pressure and dirt in the toilets, tubs, sinks, etc.... There wasn't enough pressure to wash dishes and flush the toilet at the same time, so we called the water company again!

To make a long story short..... A few days later after many arguements over the phone, and help from a friend(Thanx Al) to figure out what was wrong. The water company sent there contracted Plumber to replace the broken piece that was brand new and flush our lines of all the dirt that resulted from routine maintenance of changing a pressure fitting without cleaning the box first.
From this crazy experience Chad and I have decided we are very grateful for running water and have learned our lesson! We will now be filling the empty blue water drums in our garage!!! :)

New Toy

What a fun Saturday we had...

Chad and Joe went shopping and came home with a dirt bike for Brynlyn!

The front door opened... in came Chad riding a dirt bike. Through the living and dining room then back outside! Brynlyn was so excited she couldn't get her shoes on fast enough.

We spent a good portion of the day outside just admiring the new toy. Brynlyn could not get enough, asking to go for another ride every few minutes.

So much fun, can't wait to get her better safety gear and go ride with the family!

No more naps...

Brynlyn's decided she is to old for nap time! This has resulted in a very grouchy girl early in the evening, and I have found her asleep in many different places throughout the house. I thought she was being very quiet, when I went to investigate I captured this cute pic in her room.

Peyton's Blessing

Peyton's dress was made from my wedding dress!
I'm amazed at how perfect and beautiful it is. My very special mom's Margene and extra mom Sharon spent many hours cutting, glueing, sewing, fixing, replacing beads and stressing.
I am so thankful to their hard work... just 3 short weeks before the blessing they started cutting up my wedding dress to make this gorgeous gown.
Sweet baby, such tiny precious details!

I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who holds the priesthood and gave our little girl a beautiful blessing this past Sunday! It was a perfect day thanks to all the family and friends that came to support us. Peyton was fussy until it was time to go up front in her dad's arms, then she slept the entire time!
Thank you to everyone who came, and extra thanks to those who helped with food and the details of the day!

First Smile

So cute and getting chubby!

Just six weeks ago we had these cute announcement pictures taken by Megan Lee! Now at 2 months Peyton has doubled her birth weight and is starting to go bald.

I made the announcement's above and had so much fun designing them. If anyone needs something put together, I would love to do the job! Little ones change so fast, I really enjoy being able to document all these moments with fun technology.

We are so blessed...

Chad and I are so blessed regardless of the lack of sleep, crazy emotions, and a toddler who loves her baby sister, but doesn't want to listen! We have two beautiful girls who keep us grounded and remind us each day just how lucky we are to have them in our family!
Brynlyn sure has a fun personality, very strong willed and certain of how she wants everything to be! Her favorite saying right now is "What's the big idea?" Most sentences start this way and lead to very interesting conversations. Peyton is much calmer than her big sister who cried the first four months of her life. Peyton just goes with the flow of things! Although she gets startled easy and hates her car seat. After she's buckled in and stops crying she clenches her little fists up against her face and closes her eyes while making sad little whimpers! It's so cute but very sad... I need to get a picture of her doing this. She is simply Sweet!
I still can't believe how blessed I am to have two sweet little girls in my home! I thank Heavenly Father every day for the chance to raise them, and what a humbling experience being a mother is! I have never felt more inadequate but truly blessed in my life!
