Black eye

I feel bad that my oldest has inherited my talent of being a klutz!

This is the 4th time she has hurt herself with a stationary object.

Last night she and Dax were having fun running through the house.

(Brynlyn has a habit of running without looking in front of her)

They ran to my dark bedroom and she collided with my huge black dresser, fell to the floor crying and screaming. Poor thing, her eye was almost swollen shut this morning.

She is very proud of her cool wound, and loves to play doctor.

8 months

Our sweet little girl is 8 months old already!
My how time fly's, much faster with our second child.
Peyton is Practically Perfect.
So sweet and happy, she loves to scream and roll everywhere.
Her shoes, hair accesories and socks come off as fast as she can get to them.
She sleeps most of the night, waking usually once to eat.
Her smile is so bright and contagious.
She is a mommies girl, but loves to play with dad when he gets home.
I feel so blessed to be a mom especially to my sweet little girls.

Appreciate

Buddies
Ticklish
Some of the happiest moments in life are those we share with our families.
We sure miss seeing Uncle Dick each day. Especially at bed time when Brynlyn needs his loves and hugs! It makes us appreciate the times we do get to play with him. We had a great time hanging out, eating, watching some fights on TV and just enjoying each others company.
The girls love to visit and play. Taking over his house and being obnoxiously loud. Hope you have recovered by now from our xtraordinary visit. Love ya - us

Carefree and full of wonder

Last week when the weather was gorgeous, we spent loads of time outside. As much as Brynlyn could convince me was needed! She would live in the yard as long as someone is with her. The moment I go inside, she is right behind - wondering how long i will be?
I can't believe how big my girls are getting? We have so much fun each day. Brynlyn has been such a challenging little girl, at times I don't know what to do with her. Then I step back and watch her play so sweetly with her little sister.
Peyton is like a sweet but loud little tumbleweed. She squeals to hear the sound of her own voice and rolls from one side of the room to the other, pivoting on her belly to get things just out of reach. I love being mom to these two wonderful very different little girls!
