Brynlyn and I went to Kim, Bryan & Daxton's house for lunch! It was way fun and relaxing, the kids even got along most of the time.
Thanx Kim for good food and fun company.

First Day of School

September 3, 2008

Brynlyn did so well on her first day, no crying! She was anxious to go and wanted to take all her toys with her, so we limited her stuff to blankie and Ariel doll.

I am doing a Joy School with five other mothers, rotating houses & teaching. Heidi (who is amazing) has put it together and I am so thankful to be included! However we will not be holding it in our home, that would be way to many little ones for Uncle Richard. Nikki and I will be working together and both teach in her home!

It's twice a week for two hours. The kids range from 2 to 3 so each activity will be short and sweet.

I am excited to teach but nervous with 8 little ones to keep occupied!
Wish us luck!!!

Dress UP time!

This is our favorite new activity... dress up as princess, rambo, or whatever clothes we can find.

Brynlyn had a blast playing dress up over the weekend while we cleaned out closets with Grandma's help! We had 4 huge black bags ready to go to the DI by the end of the day! What a great feeling to de-clutter at least one section of our home.

Looking good in mom's belt collection that was hiding in the back of a closet!

Thankful Thursday!

I have enjoyed reading other people's Thankful thoughts and I would love to share some of mine. There are so many things to be thankful for, but this week I am EXTRA grateful for my family & home!
Recently there was a group of people from Cedar City in a terrible plane crash, they fly to remote areas in Utah and treat patients. The plane they were in crashed shortly after takeoff with no survivors. Everything I have been told and read has shocked, and touched me. There were two families that lost 2 people. A Father and son, and a Father and Daughter. One young man's wife is expecting their first child, a 20 year old girl got engaged the night before. Another young mom left a 2 and 5 year old with her husband who I went to highschool with(my heart is broken for him). They all left behind family's and friends.
I have cried with my mom over the phone for the loss of her and her sister's good friend Val, and all the other people that have gone to a better place in Heaven with our Father.
It has made me really think about what is important. You never know what might happen. I do not want to imagine the pain they feel. I am so thankful for the comforting spirit that will be with all these people in there time of need!!!
I admit I feel frustrated with things in my life, but when things like this happen it really puts everything into perspective!

A Child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine!

Kaylee and Brynlyn had tons of fun playing together while Kaylee stayed with her grandparents for a few days! They screamed and ran with each other, then pushed one another out of the way to get to the slide...!
